James "Jim" Kohler

Age 85 of Hugo. Loving Dad, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa & Brother, passed away surrounded by family on May 20, 2026.

Preceded in death by wife of 59 years, Kathleen; brothers, Leonard, Dennis. Survived by children, Lori (Boyd) Metcalf, Jaime; Jon(Trisha); grandchildren, Tanya (James) Dessner, Tara (Kyle) Breitbarth, Taylor (MacKenzie) Metcalf, Chris Kohler, Kacie (Kirk) Nelson, Cydney Kohler; great-grandchildren, Jayci, Layne, Jack, Isla, Rhet, Dutton, DeEtta, Jonathan, Nora, Joey; brother, Jerry (Marilyn); many nieces, nephews, other relatives friends.

Jim was born in White Bear Lake and was a lifelong resident. He was the owner of Bald Eagle Sports in White Bear Lake.

Jim’s life will be celebrated with a gathering from 4-8 PM Friday, June 5^th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. Private interment at St. Genevieve Cemetery, Centerville. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Beyond Hospice/The Pillars of Oakdale.
