Mary L. Davis

March 13, 1930 ~ June 16, 2011
Mary Louise Lucy Davis passed away at the age of 81 years. On June 16th, the world got a little less bright and shiny. Mary Louise Davis left this place for the otherside, with halo tarnished but intact. She joined her sisters in heaven. So now the Walker sisters are together again, Mabel, Dorothy, Mavis, Doris, Joyce, Jean and Louise are running togheter again. Be good and dont play by all the rules. A small memorial will be held at a later date.
Fairview lab girls will miss her smiling and always cheery face. She had just a wonderfully positive attitude and the connection her and her husband shared kept us excited to see them both every week. She will be greatly missed but definatly not forgotten.
Auntie Lucy…..one of my sister’s and my favorite great aunties. We remember the years gathered around various tables playing “Oh, Hell!” and Lucy’s laughter! Sitting around the farmhouse in Almelund with all the sister’s eating Mable’s pies and Lucy sharing stories of when they were girls………camping with Grandma Jackie and Grandpa Earl and Dick and Lucy would pull up in the motorhome of the year……..I still remember being a little girl and meeting Snoopy….he was licking my face over and over and Auntie Lucy’s laughter…..such a joyous life…… we’ll miss you! As my Greek relatives say “May her memory be eternal”. Mary Louise……your’s will.
Lucy was a part of our family’s life even before I was born. I remember walking down to her house to show off new dresses or Halloween costumes. She shared in a lot of our big events, graduations, weddings, and babies. She was a great friend to my mom, and looked out for my dad since Mom died. She would call to make sure we were taking good care of him. She will be missed
