Age 73 of Wyoming. Loving Husband, Dad, Papa, Brother, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 1, 2020.
Preceded in death by parents, William Sr. & Frances; sister, Nancy Bear; father-in-law, Jerry Vandelac; brother-in-law, John Vandelac. Survived by beloved spouse of 30 years, Julie; sons, Brian (Shannon) Vandelac, Shawn (Molly); grandchildren, Jaxon, Grace, Lilly, Claire, Luxlee, Simon; siblings, Robin (Deb Carlson), Jay (Beth), Jody (Mark) Amland, Erin; sister-in-laws, Jeanne, Jane; brother-in-law, Jerry; four-legged best friend, Dutchess; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
A celebration of life gathering 5-7 PM Wednesday, January 8, at Roberts Family Life Celebration Home, Forest Lake. Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
My best memory for Bill is , Man can he cook! He just doesn’t cook 1 vegetable for Thanksgiving , he makes them ALL!! I just learned that he played guitar with Johnny Rivers at Christmas 1967, in Vietnam! Who knew!!! RIP Bill
I worked with Bill for many years, at the formerly known White Bear Lake Care Center. I was a cook, back then, and Bill could fix any equipment I would break. He was a good friend and always looked out for me. He was the only one who got away with calling me “Slim”, to this day. Rest in Peace, my man.
