Ward A. Sessing

Ward A. Sessing, age 57, of Forest Lake passed on Wednesday morning, April 17, 2013. Ward had passion for everything he did in life. Whether it was his work as an Architect or volunteering his many gifts and talents within the Presbytery, the Synod and his own church, he was an inspiration and mentor to many people. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Margie Sessing; children, Lindsay Sessing and Eric (Mary) Sessing; parents, Norman and Bernice Sessing; siblings, Orreen (Gary) Nottom, Rodney (Diane) Sessing, and Mary (Walt) Lehne; mother-in-law, Bobbe Larson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Glen (Edith) Larson, Dave Larson, John (Lisa) Larson, Lauri (Don) Schuneman, and Ann (Keith) Traylor; and many nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held 6-8 PM Friday, April 26th in Presbyterian Church of the Way, 3382 Lexington Ave. No., Shoreview. A Celebration of Wards Life will be held 11 AM Saturday, April 27th in the church with a luncheon to follow immediately after the service. Memorials preferred to Presbyterian Church of the Way.
Ward was always kind and caring and a happy person. We heard of your loss with great sadness. Our prayers are with you.

I remember watching the boys play hockey, and the moms sit in the stands while the dads stood by the rink side. Ward was an awesome person, and an assest to our team, along with his wonderful wife Margie daughter Lindsey, and of course Eric. I will miss him. But I do know God takes the best when he needs them! RIPWard!
