Virginia Lee Ruiz

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Virginia Lee (Betzold) Ruiz, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota January 5, 1943, who was taken to Heavens Gates the morning of October 2nd, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends as she enjoys the afterlife with friends and family that arrived before her.
Preceded in death by husband, Ruban Ruiz; previous husband, Jerry Anderson; father and mother, Clayton Gerhard Betzold & Gloria Mae (Carlson) Betzold.
Survived by daughter, Cynthia D. Anderson; step daughter Anita Ruiz Denney; grandchildren, David (Elena) Bies, Amber Puumala, Angela (Zach) Petchell, Daniel Anderson-Jones, Jesse Sater, Micha Sater, Leon Hiland, Nadine Denny Cott; great-grand children, Jazlyn, Christopher, Hope, Davin, Troy and Preston; siblings, Clayton (Macia) Betzold, Jean (Rick) Letjcher, Mary Jo Cooksey, Cheryl Ross, George Betzold; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A celebration of Virginia’s life will be held 2 PM Sunday, November 14th, with a gathering beginning one hour prior at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 SW Centennial Drive, Forest Lake.
We are planning a fantastic celebration for you Grandma!
Enjoyed a visit with Ginny a few years ago at Cousin, Joyce’s house where we got together and had fun laughing and talking about our fun times together!! She was a lot of fun!!
