Vincent John Lauer of St. Paul Minnesota passed away on June 17, 2022 at the age of 72. He was born February 21, 1950 to John and Ida Lauer. Vince was a graduate of St. Thomas Military Academy High School, the University of Minnesota Duluth where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree, and University of Minnesota where he obtained his degree for Physical Therapy. He went on to work as a physical therapist in Memphis, TN until he retired. Vince always had a passion for furthering his education and helping people which motivated him to maintain his license and achieve certifications even beyond retirement. Survived by his former wife Anita and their children, David (Kelly) and Emily (Cole), his grandchildren Lauren, Adalynn, Hudson and Barrett, siblings Paul, Martha, Louise, Anna and Bernard as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Vince enjoyed the simple pleasures of life such as live music, writing journals and poetry, his lake home in Forest Lake, MN and doing anything outdoors. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Vince’s honor to the Wildlife Science Center in Stacy, Minnesota where he enjoyed spending time. Services Pending at this time.

  1. Vince said there are 3 things in life you will never regret: getting a good education, saving money, and taking care of your health.

  2. I’m really going to miss my older brother Vince. He and I were very close just 2 years apart. We traveled together sometimes and had some good Adventures. He was very intelligent and independent. He was kind but sometimes a bit cynical. I feel like I’ve lost an ally. But I believe he’s still nearby. Jerome says he really liked Vince. He’s been very helpful to me.
