Age 68 of Scandia.
Loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother & proud Air Force Veteran passed away peacefully on December 22, 2020. Preceded in death by parents, Vernon daughter, Cathy. Survived by loving wife, Sue; children, Vernon Lee, Stacey Marie; grandchildren, Jordan (Jeff), Ian, Emma, Katelyn; sisters, Karen (Rick) Chenery, Marce (Phil) Scearcy; nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
A celebration of Vernon’s life 11 AM Wednesday, December 30th with visitation one hour prior at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

On behalf of the Forest Lake American Legion Post 225, we give thanks for Vernon’s military service to our country in the Air Force.
I worked with Vern, we had a lot in common so we enjoyed our talks together. I remember stopping at his home and he showed me his cow that would come when he called. I think that I will always look for him at a gun show like I always did. Al Rammer
