Thomas "Tom" J. Corbett

Age 83 of Pleasanton, California, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026.

Tom lived a life grounded in faith, family, and quiet strength. A devoted Catholic, he found comfort and meaning in his church community and lived his values through kindness, integrity, and service to others.

Tom was preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia Waldoch and Colleen Corbett, and his first wife, Carol Corbett. He is survived by his brother, Mick Corbett (sister-in-law Jeanne Corbett). He was the beloved husband of Renee Corbett and a loving father to Jessica McCarthy (son-in-law Kevin McCarthy) and Christina Corbett (son-in-law Jordan Severance). He was also a cherished stepfather to Kevin Hughes (daughter-in-law Gentry Hughes) and Kellie Hughes (son-in-law Scott Gunning).

Tom was a proud grandfather to Jamie, Samantha, Coby, Riley, Nicole, Jared, Jacob, Jyn, Juniper, Brianna, Isabelle, Scarlett, and Jack, as well as a great-grandfather to Greyson and Ellie, each of whom brought him great joy.

Family always came first for Tom. He was known for his steady presence, sense of humor, and dedication to his faith. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the family he cherished so dearly.

Tom will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his faith, his devotion to family, and the quiet grace with which he lived his life.

Visitation with a prayer service will be held from 10 – 10:45 AM Saturday, January 31st at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake.  Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake.
