Sheri Raduechel

October 16, 1958 ~ May 12, 2025
Sheri Raduechel, of Harris, MN, passed away on May 12, 2025, at the age of 66. She was born on October 16, 1958, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Kenneth and Merle Raduechel.
Sheri was raised in the Jehovah’s Witness faith. As she grew into adulthood, she made the deeply personal decision to explore a different path in life. Though this choice created distance from her community of origin, it also opened the door to a life defined by courage, independence, and authenticity.
While the details of Sheri’s early years are somewhat unclear, her life truly blossomed when she met Dave Matzke, her beloved partner of more than 25 years. Through Dave, Sheri became part of a family who welcomed her with open hearts. She was not only Dave’s partner, but a treasured presence in the lives of his children—Tim (Jenny) and Bret (Jen) Matzke—and his grandchildren, Noah and Ella, to whom she was like an adopted grandmother. Her warmth and thoughtfulness came through in small, memorable traditions, like the Valentine’s Day gifts she sent them each year as their “secret admirer.”
Sheri held close the family members who accepted her fully and loved her well, including Donna, Mark and Chris, Becky and Dale, Arlene, and especially her beloved niece, Arianna, who was like a daughter to her.
Sheri had a gift for sewing and worked for many years as a seamstress at Premier Pontoons in Wyoming, MN, where her creativity and skill were admired by coworkers and friends alike. She enjoyed bowling and loved playing card games like cribbage and hand and foot. She had a particular talent for picking out thoughtful, unique gifts—always noticing the little things that made others feel seen and valued.
Fiercely independent and strong-willed, Sheri lived her life with quiet generosity and an open heart. Her presence, her resilience, and her unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sheri’s life will be celebrated with a gathering from 10 AM – 1 PM Saturday, June 28th at Roberts Family Funeral Home. Interment at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph of the Lakes Cemetery, Lino Lakes. A luncheon will follow the interment at the church.
