June 16, 1931 ~ November 27, 2020

Age 89 of Minneapolis. Passed away on November 27, 2020. Preceded in death by mother, Esteline; sister, Patricia, Diane; brother, Robert. Survived by daughter, Cheri (Mark) Forliti; grandchildren, Gina (Sara) Forliti, Joe (Kate) Forliti; great-grandchildren, Luca & Maya Forliti; sister, Rosalie Hall; many nieces & nephews. “Honey”, as she was called by her family, was a strong independent woman who always had a youthful spirit, wonderful sense of humor, and a great work ethic. She worked in retail at G.C. Murphy’s and later Woolworths for many years. Rosemary worked her way up to a managerial position and took a lot of pride in her job. She had a special bond with her grandchildren and loved to spoil them. She cherished any time spent together and loved them unconditionally. Honey will always hold a special place in their hearts, and they will miss her dearly. Rosemary was a resident of Heights Manor in Columbia Heights for over 25 years. She held many positions there on the renter’s board and was often first in line to help with whatever needed to be done. She was always available to drive if someone need a ride to a doctor’s appointment, the grocery store, or weekly trips to the Dollar Store. Rosemary got up at 5:00 A.M. every Saturday and Sunday to deliver newspapers to those who couldn’t make it down to the lobby, throughout her time at Heights Manor. She especially enjoyed party planning and decorating the building for every holiday. Her friends there say they won’t know what they’ll do without her! Her life certainly wasn’t easy, but she always put everyone else’s needs before her own. We all love you Honey, and you will be greatly missed. Services are private.

  1. My aunt Rosemary had a nickname “HONEY”. That about explains it all. She will be missed but not forgot
