Bob McKenzie Age 90 of Forest Lake and formerly of Hopkins. Passed away peacefully October 29, 2011. Proud member of the 101st Airborne Division - WWII. Preceded in death by daughter, Patty Walters; parents, Charles and Elsie (Schwarz) McKenzie; brothers, Darrel McKenzie, Donald McKenzie and Owen McKenzie. Survived by wife of 62 years, Armella (Kelzer) McKenzie; son-in-law, Arnie Walters; granddaughter, Mary Walters; sister, Marlys Myer; close friend, John Valliere; sister-in-law, Florinda (Alvin) Buntrock and many nieces and nephews. Visitation 4-8 PM Tuesday, Nov. 1st at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Dr. SW, Forest Lake and continuing on Wed. Nov. 2nd from 9-10 AM at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 AM Wed., Nov. 2nd at The Church of St. Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. Memorials preferred.

I am so sorry for your loss. May “the God of all comfort” (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort and soothe your heart. His promises, found in the Holy Scriptures, can offer much hope. It assures us at John 5:28,29 that our loved ones will be remembered and brought back to life in the resurrection. Please allow God’s Word to strengthen you and help you to endure this most difficult time.
