Rita Babinski
June 21, 1932 ~ September 30, 2013
Rita K. Babinski passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2013. Survived by husband of 61 years, Leonard; daughter, Joni (Thomas Hankes) Babinski; daughter-in-law; Emily Storbakken (Thomas Babinski); sister, Dorothy Cahill; brother, Charles Smith. Preceded in death by son, Thomas Babinski; parents, Charles and Ina Smith. She loved her family, friends, work associates and grandpuppies. She spent her free time reading, fishing or enjoying nature in Northern Minnesota and Southern Florida. She was talkative, caring, and always interested in others. She never met a slot machine or casino she didnt like and seemed to have better than average luck. At her request there will be no services. Memorials in her name can be made to the Humane Society of Minnesota. She was loved and will be truly missed.

Although no words can help to ease your pain, know that you are are on our minds and in our hearts. Rita was a delightful woman. We will miss seeing her ‘up north’ over the 4th of July. God bless you all.

We extend our deepest sympathy to you all for your loss of Rita. She has been a central part of your lives for so many years. Thank goodness for all the good memories you have of her and her love for you.
We can only hope there is some solace in that she now is with Tommy. Our prayers are with you.
