Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I loved listening to Dick and my Joe sharing memories of when they were young. Joe spent a lot of time with Dick and his dad minnowing and logging.
Dick and his uncle Joe were always getting into some kind of mischief and very close. One story was that Uncle Joe and Dick and Lindy were having a dart gun fight in Alice’s house. Uncle Joe shot Earl (stepdad) in the back of the head and then tossed the gun to Dick!
Dick always made a trip north to visit his Aunts and Uncles and these visits were welcomed by all. His Aunt Dorothy would always call him her “little nephew” and he would just beam.
Dick had a crazy sense of humor and could tell a joke like no one else. He was also welcoming when you came to his home.
We are saddened by the news that he has passed and he will be missed.

  2. I remember meeting you for the first time 5 years ago. You immediately wanted a hug. You then told me one of many funny stories about Rick (my fiance), in which I gave a laugh. You told me that was the best laugh you have every heard. From that day on when I came to see you every other week you made it your mission to make me laugh. I will forever miss that.
