Seeing this of Lyle, I forwarded it to other classmates of ours. We were first graders in 1937 ! And neighbors across the county line since 1941 ! Old history we are, but with the most precious memories, we are blessed. Florence Cushing Daninger

“Our prayers and loving care are extended to Karen and family in the death of Lyle Alm. We remember Lyle with great appreciation and love, and his presence will be greatly missed in the midst of our church family. We rejoice that Lyle is free from pain and suffering and that Lyle is with Jesus forever through his steadfast faith with perfect clarity. We weep with Karen, family, and friends in the loss, and pray for God’s comfort. Pastor Jim Mitchell and the Church Family in Auburndale FL.”
Lyle and his brother Russell and their wives and family were fabulous hosts when we gathered on their farm for our Alm-Ahlm family reunion in 1989. Such a delight for this city girl to watch those brothers shuck that corn and grill those burgers. We were also celebrating my grandmother Freda Christine Alm McNevin’s centennial. Thus, we gathered in Forest Lake where she was born. Lyle, a dear man, fun cousin and great host. We honor his memory, his love of family, his devotion to his church community, and his service to our country.
Don and I are so sorry Karen to hear the news of Lyle passing. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Our Condolences to you. Don and Jan Ringstmeyer
Karen I am so sorry for your loss. As a kid growing up next door, I will always remember the kick ball games that Lyle and Russell would play with us. Prayers and thoughts are with you. Katie(Tyler) Schoenecker
