Paul M. Henry

September 12, 1964 ~ September 8, 2016
Age 51 of Little Falls. Loving Husband, Son, Brother and Uncle, went to Heaven on September 8, 2016. Paul was born on 9/12/64 in Brooklyn Park, MN to Lyle and Mary Ann Henry. After his mothers death, his father remarried. Lyle and Carol raised him and his three brothers, two sisters, along with his two step-sisters and two step-brothers in Wyoming, MN. Paul and Sarah Miron met through a friend when they worked together in Hugo. They married on 5/15/04. Both called this the happiest day of their lives. Paul volunteered as an usher at the Grace Alliance Church in Forest Lake where he and Sarah attended and befriended many people before moving to Little Falls two years ago. Some of his favorite activities included volunteering at Big Sandy Camp, biking, bowling, camping, and playing golf. Paul and Sarah enjoyed going to the Wilderness Fellowship for retreats. They liked eating out, going to parks for walks, and visiting with friends and family. Paul worked as a janitor at Russs Barber Shop for over 30 years. He also worked at a bakery in Forest Lake, then at Tanger Outlet in North Branch. Pauls last job was with EEI in Little Falls. Paul was known for his strong belief in Jesus Christ, his gentle spirit, constant humor, and love for the Vikings and other sports teams. He enjoyed backyard bonfires, doing crossword puzzles, watching the news, and reading the daily paper. After his most recent stroke and cancer diagnosis, he gracefully accepted many changes and continued to hold fast to his faith. Paul appreciated visits from family and friends and especially enjoyed an April gathering to share stories about his life. It was a time of reminiscing, love and laughter. His humor and loving presence were appreciated by many. The nieces and nephews will remember his playfulness and Donald Duck imitations. Special thanks to the care team at St. Ottos and to his hospice caregivers. Preceded in death by mother, Mary Ann; father, Lyle; step-mother, Caroline Henry; brother-in-law, Delmer Bishop. Paul was a dear friend and co worker of mine when we both worked at Northway Construction. It saddens me to hear the news. May our paths cross again my friend. Darwin Hjort
