  1. Pat, my very dear brother. . .oh how I will miss you, your laugh, your cologne, your one-liners, your smile, and so much more. I loved your hugs and when you called me Cath or honey. I am so sorry you had to go through the last 4 months- they were awful but you never complained and were such a trooper. I wish God had let you stay longer but he must have been in need of a great guy and a few laughs in heaven. You were such an awesome brother and I will always keep you in a special place. . .my heart.
    Love you honey.
    Cathie

  2. Pat was a fun guy.
Knew him thru is father Bill whom we knew thru my mom working at Mr. Joes on the Midway in St. Paul some 25 years.
Later in mid 90s Pat worked part time for us at the Fare For All food warehouse an we really had some good times doing the hard work on the docks.
Always enjoyed his company an big smile.
Proud to call him a friend in my adventure thru life.
    Peace.

  3. Pat, you will be dearly missed by so many of us! I like to think that you and I shared a very unique bond as best friends and “work husband and wife”. I will dearly miss your contagious laugh which made me laugh so hard that I would literally have tears rolling down my cheeks dang near on a daily basis. I don’t know how many times Pat made me laugh so hard that I would end up spitting my water (or whatever I was taking a drink of at the time) all over myself and sometimes even him! And I will forever miss your beautiful smile and “Good Morning Hunny” greeting you gave me every morning for nearly 10 years! I send my thoughts and love to you, your amazing wife Patty and your family. I love you dearly my best friend.

  4. Pat you will be missed by so many of us that had the pleasure of spending time with you! I will miss you and your laughter greatly, but I will meet up with you again one day for a drink. Sending my thoughts, prayers, and love out to you, Patty, and your family.

  5. Pat always had a smile on his face. It was contagious, his love for life and people always shined through! He’ll always be remembered and very much missed. Patty I pray for Gods comfort, and His arms to just wrap around you and overflow His love upon you and your family. I also pray for peace and strength as only comes from our loving and faithful Father to be with you always!!!! Sending lots of love, and prayers to you!!!!!

  6. It was our extreme pleasure to have had our loyal and honorable friend Pat McCarthy as a manager here at Custom Remodelers. We would like to share a few of our favorite memories about our “Patty boy”.

Pat worked for Custom Remodelers for over 20 years. Always a first class, hard working and loyal manager who did a fantastic job. He was well respected and loved by everyone. He was often called “Patty boy” and his distinctive voice was a mainstay in and around the halls.

You knew you were in for a treat when Pat would bring in a crockpot of his fresh homemade chicken noodle soup, everyone gathered to get a bite of his wonderful cooking. His delicious pumpkin roll will be greatly missed by all. You could tell he always put his heart and love into everything he did.

Pats office was his personal domain- a self expression of his incredible character. Seasonal candles, sweet treats to share, his cologne and favorite lotion were always within reach. Jazz music and his famous “shorts” picture will forever be a classic.

When it came to what was most important to him clearly was his wife Patty, his sweetheart of 18 years. Pat and Patty were two peas in a pod- they enjoyed each other at all times. Pat was a faithful and loving husband.

His witty humor, sweet spirit and soft and gentle nature will be greatly missed here by all. Patty, we send you our love and pray that God will pour his peace and blessings over you and your family. Unconditional love is rare.

  7. I will miss my friend greatly and CRI will not be the same without Pat. Pat was a true professional and the example of a true gentleman. I will see you again Pat and please make sure the siding is Heaven is done correctly. Miss ya man.

  8. Patrick (Puppy) you were one of the fun guys in Mazatlan for a number of years, Mexico will not be the same without you. We love you and we certainly will miss you.
