I am paraphrasing something Pam said about me at Pat’s funeral. She said, Have Barb sit in the front row with the family because she is like a fourth sister. This made me feel very honored. From that point on, I felt closer to Pam more than words can ever say.
Our deepest sympathies to the family
So many memories Pam and I shared Girl Scouting leading for many years.
Thinking about it now I think of our Wyoming trek what a fun trip that was. Bob drove the van and we started out each day with “on the road again “.
I also seem to remember Pam and I getting an Eeyore award for our cabin at Lakamaga camp.
Selling Girl Scout cookies, staying at Girl Scout headquarters in St. Paul, leading a troop of handicapped adults at the achievement center, Canoeing on the Saint Croix it was many years of fun and enjoyment.
Thank you Pam, you were my leader too I enjoyed knowing you and you will be missed!!
Pam and I grew up together as neighbors and friends. We cut out paper dolls and played for hours with them. Ran through mud puddles together after the rain stopped and spent hours just playing house with our dolls. She is and will always be remembered as a beautiful friend.
I met Pam through her sister Pat. Pat introduced me to my husband John. John was in Pam and Bob’s wedding. Over the years I came to know Pam and I loved and admired her. Such a loving and caring woman. RIP Pam. You will be missed.
Bob, this memory is of you and Pam. Your brother, Gary, spent most of the summer at the farm and went to the high school Sunday School class with me. Our topic one week was people not getting married at a young age. Gary said it all, Something to this effect. . .“Bob and Pam are going to get married, there is nothing wrong about that. They are perfect together! And they are young and in love”. Perfect together, Gary was so right!
Dear Bob & Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Pam’s passing. She was such a great lady, friend & co-worker. I was so blessed to have her in my life all these years. I know that words however kind, can not mend your heartache. May you find strength in the love of family, the warm embrace of friends & all your many memories. Family & friends are so very precious & memories are so dear. God bless you & yours. You are in my thoughts & prayers.
With Love & Sincere Sympathy, Janellen Hoyt
