Michelle M. Anderson

February 2, 1955 ~ October 14, 2016
Our beloved Michelle, Mitch, Mitchell, Shelly, Mom, Nana, passed away surrounded in love by her family on October 14, 2016 at the age of 61, halfway to 122. Michelle was born on February 2, 1955, raised in Hugo, and longtime resident of St. Paul. She married her soul-mate, her rock, her everything, Dennis, on June 21, 1974 and, for over 42 glorious years, they were the perfect example of true love. She served on the Linwood Fire Department for 13 years. She enjoyed spending time at the cabin with family; organizing ginormous get-togethers; creating art; and spoiling her grandkids. Michelles creativity, quirky antics, fighting spirit, will for life, selflessness, compassion, and unconditional love of family will be deeply missed, but also remembered and treasured. Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Eleanor Marier; brother Wayne; infant sister Melissa. Michelle will be dearly missed by the love of her life Denny; children Tasha (Luke) Schifsky; Eric (Patty); Pete (Tami); and grandchildren; Cole, Makenna, Matthew, Nathan, Michael, Aubrie, Aiden, Jacob, and Preston. Also survived by 12 brothers and sisters, and her many out-laws. We are grateful to Regions Hospital and Bethesda Hospital for their compassionate care and support. She is talking to God right now, Did you hear the one about... Visitation on Thursday, October 20th, 4-8 PM at Roberts Family Life Celebration Home, 555 Centennial Drive SW, Forest Lake, MN.
