Mary Anne Beckman (Cournoyer)

November 21, 1949 ~ March 29, 2024
Age 74 of Forest Lake, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2024 at Our Lady of Peace Hospice Home.
Preceded in death by husband, Charles; granddaughter, Isabel Koegel; brothers, Fran & Bill. Survived by children, Jason Haraldson, Amy (Peter) Koegel, grandchildren, Tyler Woxland, Hannah & Jared Haraldson, great grandson Gavin; sister Margaret; brothers Gene, Jim many nieces & nephews.
Mary Anne was born in St Paul, MN and grew up on a farm, where many shenanigans took place, in Forest Lake with her parents and six siblings. Growing up on the farm she loved riding and taking care of her horse along with her sister. Mary Anne also loved to garden, and could be found often working in the garden or helping someone plant flowers.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was always there when you needed her. Always ready with a hug or comforting words. Her grandkids were her world! From baseball games to dance recitals to just hanging out and playing games. She was an excellent teacher and took great satisfaction in helping her grandkids with their schoolwork. She was also a PCA for her granddaughter for 18 years, Isabel’s Guardian Angel. Mary Anne also loved to read and was an active member of the catholic church. Mom, we love you and will miss you immensely!
Visitation will be held from 2-6 PM Sunday, April 7th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Monday, April 8th with visitation beginning at 10 AM at Church of St. Peter, 1250 S. Shore Dr., Forest Lake. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake with a luncheon to follow at the Blue Heron in Hugo, MN. In lieu of flowers, the family asks Memorials are preferred as donations in her name to Our Lady of Peace Hospice Home or Church of St. Peter.
