Lochlan "Little Buddy" Michael Driscoll

Age 4 months and 13 days, passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2015. Survived by parents, Patrick and Melissa; sister, Willow; grandparents, Shannon and Stewart Dunn, JoAnne and Dan Utecht, Gary Van Gunst, Kyla Mitcheltree; godparents, Michelle Grubbs, Shawn Dunn; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral service 6 PM Wednesday, August 19th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 SW Centennial Dr. Forest Lake, MN 55025, with visitation beginning at 4 PM until time of service. Interment, Scandinavian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
Melissa and Patrick I hope you two find comfort in knowing Jesus is taking good care of baby Lochlan and his spirit will forever be with you all ! You guys are wonderful strong people and although some days will be harder than others just know you are surrounded by so much love and support..not just now but forever. This world is a better place because you guys are in it ! We love you guys !
We only got to meet little Lochlan for a short time at the last Dunn family Reunion. I am so happy we were able to see him and that he was able to make a fun family gathering even though he was too small to enjoy. You will be missed by all who loved you Little Buddy!
So sad.. Such a cute little guy. Hopefully the support of family and friends will help you in this very sad time.

Just heard this devastating news from my daughter Amy Haugen Porter. We too lost a precious 4 month old granddaughter almost 3 years ago, please know that our prayers go out to you all, this is one of the hardest roads anyone will ever travel! I so wish you didnt have to start this journey and if you ever feel the need to talk to someone, please let Amy know! Keep breathing.

What a beautiful little angel. I’m so sorry for your loss and continue to pray daily that you feels Gods presence and love as he carries you through the difficult journey ahead without your little boy.
I grieve for the loss of “Little Buddy.” If I hurt so much and I never held him, your pain as parents are unimaginable. There must be so many unanswered questions in your mind about your son. You may wonder how his life would have turned out; what would be his achievements and contributions to this world. Take courage. God has promised to restore life to those who have died with the opportunity to realize their full potential in the Paradise Jesus promised at Luke 23:43. God feels your pain; therefore he promises at Psalm 30:11 to change your mourning into dancing and to clothe you with rejoicing. He is a God of love (1 John 4:8) and he has the desire and the ability to do just that. It is not the Creator’s purpose just to have a short walk with him, he wants us to walk with him for eternity, which he has made possible through Jesus as stated at John 3:16. How grateful we are for that promise and the opportunity to be reunited with our dear loved ones when God makes all things new. (Revelation 21:3-5). Seeing and feeling your loss through the eyes and heart of a great-grand mother.
Melissa and family: We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your little boy. I am praying for you and your family that God may bring you all strength and calmness during the times you struggle. Rely on HIM as you get through each day.
I am so sorry for your immense loss. I have been praying for your family since I heard the news and I will keep you all in my prayers. I am grateful I got a chance to hold him once. He will be greatly missed but will always be with you in spirit.
