Age 67 of Winter Garden, FL. Passed away on April 23, 2019. Preceded in death by husband, John Gustafson; father, Joseph Skalak; mother, Fawn Skalak; sister, Dale Sentell; nephew, Joel Ziemek. Survived by daughter, Jamie (Justin) McKay; grandson, Caleb Huefner; great-grandaughter, Kira Bradley; sisters, Arlene Lindstrom, Susan (David) Bosgraaf; sister-in-law, Judy Pelligrini; step-mother, Fran Skalak; step-sisters, Carol Litko (Bluffton, So.Carolina); Barbara Davis (Reedsburg, Wisconsin); Judy Showers (Denver, Colorado); Cynthia Chizek (White Lake, Michigan); nieces, Melissa Bloedow, Cheryl Ziemek & Nicole Lillejord; nephew, Peter Bosgraaf. Linda was born in Berwyn, IL. and lived in Mauston, WI for most of her life then moved to Hillsboro, WI in 1994 where she owned a restaurant with her husband John. She and John moved to Winter Garden FL in 2007. She was currently working at Tony’s Restaurant in Magic Kingdom as a server and had worked there for 10 years. Linda loved working at Disney! She also enjoyed going to yard sales and open houses. She lived every day to be with her great-granddaughter Kira; Kira was her pride and joy and she would spend almost all of her free time with her. Everything Linda did was for her family! For fun Linda enjoyed going to Disney with her friends and family as well as eating out and going to movies. A celebration of Linda’s life 12-4 PM Sunday, June 2nd at Esplanade at Highland Ranch Clubhouse, 990 Ridgeglen Way, Clermont, FL 34715.

  3. I am so very sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. I haven’t kept in touch over the years, but I had many fun memories with her acting in “The Odd Couple” with the Mighty Carlson Art Players. She was such a sweet lady! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

  4. Linda was a beautiful person inside and out. I loved having lunch with her as she was such a genuine person so full of wisdom and was fun to be around! I’m sending my sincerest Condolences to the family. She lived to make them happy and to make sure they were well. I will remember her and cherish our memories always, and I know they will too.
