I’m so terribly sorry for your loss. Death is something that humans were never meant to experience, the pain that we experience when we lose a loved one is something that is simply unnatural. Psalms 37:29 says 29 “The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.” God’s original purpose for humankind was to live forever in a paradise earth with no sickness or death. An “abundance of peace” as psalms 37:10 brings out. Though the world we love in is horrible and we experience pain on a daily basis there is some good news, the bible promises something truly amazing at revelation 21:4 it says “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” So death, sickness, pain and every kind of sorrow will be wiped out but what about those who have already died? John 5:28,29 says of those ones “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” So these ones will be resurrected to an earth filled with peace. My family and I would like to express our deepest sympathy over the loss of Krista.
May you find comfort in your loving memories and the warmth of family and friends. I love the beautiful promise at Revelation 21:4 when death and pain will be gone forever after God restores his original purpose for the earth. We will even see our loved ones again who we have lost in death (John 5:28 & 29). It is our hope that these words bring you a measure of comfort during this difficult time. Once again, please accept our condolences as you deal with your loss.
Krista was the most beautiful person that I know (both inside and out). She had an amazing infectious smile and an extremely caring personality. For several years, I worked next door to her at Stevenson. I witnessed the tremendous impact she had on students. I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know her. She will be missed greatly but remembered always.
It is heart wrenching to loose such a wonderful and dear friend. Krista could walk into any room and light it up. She was one of the most kindest woman I know. Her family, faith and friends were her life. She was such a dedicated teacher and every student loved having Mrs. Dorcas as their teacher. It was so awesome hearing and feeling her joy as she talked about her two beautiful children and husband. Krista had such admiration for her mother and father and was so grateful everytime they would come to school and help. Thank you for your loyal friendship, laughs and your smile that you gave to me daily. I will miss you so much!
I’m so sad Krista lost her battle with cancer. I retired from Stevenson Elementary school in 2007 and remember her so well. With such the sweetest smile of anyone there !!! She was a great teacher and I know wife and mom. Sorry for her daughter and son whom she talked of so often. Also her husband Wade and her parents who where always there helping her at school. To her family and friends I Send you prayers. She tried her hardest to win this battle and I wish she had. Heaven is full of so many special Angels . While it doesn’t take the pain or grief away you know she is now without pain but watching over all of you!
