This is so sad to hear. I ALWAYS loved running into Kaye at work. She always had a smile on her face and something to say 😉 Kaye will be missed around the Center City campus. Kaye was loved by all. (Also, “do a random act of kindness and wear your sassy pants” may be the best thing I have ever read in an obituary – what a great tribute to Kaye.)
Kaye was ONE IN A MILLION and I am SO glad to have had her in my life. At work we spent lots of time laughing and having fun bickering & being sassy to each other. We were referred to as Frick & Frack. At one State Fair time we had fun cutting her face out of a picture and pasting it into a photo of the Princess of the Milky Way. We hung this photo up at work where everyone else BUT her could see it and captioned it “Princess Kaye of the Milky Way”. We also had fun celebrating her as “Queen for a Day”. She was a sharp dresser and her clothes and jewelry were always matchy-matchy and she was also blessed with the fountain of youth! At work, Kaye was the most friendly, helpful, caring and supportive of her coworkers and clients. Outside of work I enjoyed many dinners (with dessert) and events with her. We all loved her dearly! Kaye loved to travel so it was always fun to hear about her travel adventures. Lastly but most importantly, her family was her pride and joy! I look forward to acts of kindness in her memory. Great idea and very much of a pleasure! She may be gone but will NEVER be forgotten. RIP dear friend. ❤️Vicki
Miss Kaye Kaye, loved hearing stories of your adventures, and of your family, the way you spoke of them made me feel like I knew each and everyone of them. We had a running joke that I wanted her to be my Gramma, and she would respond with “Stop That, you have a Gramma”. ( I did and I was very close to her) When my Grams passed away , I told Miss Kaye Kaye that I am without a grandmother and she could now be my Gramma. She smirked and said “Fine”. I had won!!! I would address her as Gramma Kaye, and we would just smile. She was great supporter at work and in my personal life. You are missed and so loved Miss Kaye Kaye. Fly High “Gramma Kaye”. Until we meet again.
Kaye was such a joy in my work life. She always made me smile and we talked often when we saw each other. I will miss her so very much and all of her great contributions. With love and sympathy, Amy Tinney, HBFF nursing
