Kathie Marie Fink, loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, age 49, of Lindstrom, passed away on August 29, 2023, surrounded by her family.
Kathie was born on October 26, 1973, to Gilbert and Dorothy Koceja in Greendale, WI. She currently was enrolled in Southern New Hampshire University pursuing a bachelor’s in accounting and was on the honor roll. She enjoyed music, gardening, traveling to Arizona, spending time with her family and friends, ice cream, gummy bears, crossword puzzles, hiking, Jason Aldean and had a huge heart. She loved to help anyone in need.
She is survived by her children, Holly and Will Fink; grandchildren, Hunter, Amilia and Caden; mother, Dorothy Koceja; siblings, Diana de Veer, Lynn Koceja, Susan D’Amato, Laurie Koceja and Eileen Koceja; nieces and nephews, Ryan, Marc, Stephanie, Valerie, Chris, Nicole, Daisy and Hudson. Kathie is preceded by her dad, Gilbert Koceja; brother, Brian Koceja and furry friend, Charlie.
Celebration of Kathie’s life will be held at 1 PM, Tuesday, September 5, 2023, with visitation beginning at 12 PM at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake.

My beautiful child, I miss you terribly. Your love and caring for everyone you met made you very special. I’ll miss you calling me your “pussywillow” when you were small and as the adult, “squishy, fuzzy mommy”. I needed that along with that big bear hug you always gave me. Though Katie’s warmth has left this earthly realm, we are sure that she is now the life of the heavenly party! Her friendly nature always brightened up our days. Weaving laughter in her path, she was a beacon of affectionate love for all. She played an instrumental role, twining our families together through a lifelong friendship of our daughters. Tremendously missed, never forgotten!
