Karen Marie Reinsberg

Age 63 of Chisago City, passed away on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023. Karen was born on October 4, 1960, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Helen Ann Hawley and William Donald Weninger. Karen was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She worked at Securian Financial for several years making new friends, learning new skills, and making valuable contributions to her employer. Karen had a radiant smile, loved country music, flowers, owls, wine, and wineries, and being outdoors in Minnesota. She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her grandchildren. Anyone who knew them, knew that she was a star in their eyes, and that’s all that ever mattered to her. Karen considered her husband, siblings, children, and grandchildren to be her best friends. Together, they would all accompany her at home, in California, or the great outdoors in Minnesota, where they forged some of their most lasting memories. It would be wrong to say that Karen lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Karen stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Karen. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight. She is survived by her mother, Helen Weninger; Husband, Mark Reinsberg; Son, Reggie (Luz) Reinsberg; grandchildren, Emma Reinsberg, Wyatt Reinsberg, Alayna Reinsberg, Logan Reinsberg, and Riley Reinsberg. She was predeceased by daughter Lenae Reinsberg. A celebration of Karen and her beloved daughter Lenae’s life will take place from 1-5 PM Saturday, June 8th at Rustic Roots Winery, 20168 Saint Croix Trail, Scandia.
