Jon L. Velden

John Lambert Vander Velden, 65, of Shoreview currently of Lino Lakes, died suddenly on March 13, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sharon; children, Carmen (Mike) Myslicki, Michelle (Keith) Welch, and Jon Vander Velden Jr.; grandchildren, Anthony, Taylor, AJ, Alexis, and Aiden; two sisters, Joan (Andres) Christenson and Sue Effers; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Karen (Gary) McDowell; many nieces, nephews and special friends. Visitation will be from 6 - 8:30 PM Thursday, March 16th at Roberts-Eckert Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Drive SW, Forest Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Private burial will be held at a later date. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
