Jake Oaks, age 67 of Wyoming, MN, passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones in the morning light of August 6, 2013. Preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Survived by his wife Jennifer; children, Zeke, Cathryn, and Angela Oaks and Michelle Herberg; siblings Denise, David, Jeff, Cindy and Paula; seven grandchildren and many friends. Casual gathering at Podvin Park, White Bear Lake, on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 1pm.
Dad, I passed yet another semester of Nrsing school. Only two classes left.. The day felt empty without being able to call you… Amber, Jaime and myself share that since school started. Thanksgiving passed and that was a hard day and so was tree decorating this weekend. I miss you so much, be at peace and shine down on us please
My father ALWAYS sang, his voice was angelic. He stayed home with us girls most the time and we had so many fun times. He was my rock and I dont know how to move on and get through life without him. I just cry for him endlessly.. I miss you dad, hope your out of pain and watching down on us.
