August 2, 1947 ~ August 14, 2021
Age 74 of Comstock, WI & Fort Myers, FL. Formerly of Forest Lake. Loving Husband, Dad, Brother passed away on August 14, 2021.
Preceded in death by parents, Jack & Dolores; brothers, Jeff & Jim. Survived by beloved wife, Suzanne; (nee: Lackore) son, John (Beth); siblings, Claudia (Dan) Lowe, Joan (Dave) Erickson; nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. John was a proud Air force Veteran and spent 30 years as an Air Traffic Controller.
A celebration of John’s life 1-4 PM at the County Line Tavern, 3-220th Ave G, Comstock, WI. Memorials will be donated to John’s favorite charity.

Suzanne and family, Gene and I are so sad to hear of John’s passing. We had so enjoyed his smile and enthusiasm. That shows in this picture you selected, and it gave me a big smile! When I first started going to Florida with Gene, I was thrilled to be greeted unexpectedly at the golfers’ starter shack in Kelly Greens by John and that smile. I felt like such a newbie at that time and to see one of my FLHS classmates that far away from home was a gift. And I was able to visit with him there year after year! We had hoped to be stopping by on our bicycles to visit you both at Coco Bay, so we will miss John, but hope to see you sometime this winter season. We are traveling during Your celebration of his life in Comstock and are disappointed that we are unable to join you. With regret, Dianne Johnson and Gene Hallberg
