Jeff Wade McConnell

Age 57 of Stacy. Loving Husband, Dad, Papa & Brother, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 13, 2025.

Preceded in death by parents, Lyle & Elveramae McConnell; sister, Wendy McLouth. Survived by loving wife of 35 years, Dena McConnell; children, Gunnar (Jess) McConnell, Rachel (Cameron) Miller; grandchildren, Joel & Asher McConnell; siblings, Vicki (Mark Dornfeld) Mitchell, Dan (Laurie) McConnell, Doug (Suzanne) McConnell, Cindy (Dave Fischer) McConnell, Connie (Jim Ranallo) McConnell, Amy (Joe) Krambeer, Tracy (Curtis) Krauel; in-laws, Dean & Judy Tyberg, brother-in-law, Jeff (Tanya) Tyberg; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Jeff was always thankful for his happy childhood and his numerous siblings. He loved having a large family! Jeff and Dena met at Northwestern College and decided on their first date that they would marry. After receiving his bachelor’s degree, Jeff entered the Air Force serving 8 years as a Russian Linguist. Gunnar and Rachel were born in Colorado, so wanting to be closer to family, Jeff willingly concluded his military service. Returning to Minnesota, he then followed in his father’s footsteps and was hired by NSP as a machinist where he worked the next 27 years. Jeff enjoyed leading Bible studies, loved teaching Sunday School, and sharing the Gospel. He also become skilled in car repairs. Spending time with family always brought him joy.

Visitation 2-5 PM Sunday, December 28^th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. Funeral service 11 AM Monday, December 29^th with visitation beginning at 10 AM at Lakes Free Church, Lindstrom. Private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
