Age 54 of Moundsview, MN passed away unexpectedly on August 9, 2021. Jayne was a beautiful, loving, funny, caring, giving soul. She loved her family and couldn’t wait to hold the newest baby on the way Rylee due this November. She worked at Pinewood Elementary for 18 years and loved her co-workers and students dearly. They were her friends. Jayne had many life long friends that she would spend weekends hanging out and laughing with. She loved her husband Scott with all of her heart. Snuggling at home watching movies with him was her favorite thing to do. She also loved spending time up north on their 40 acres and had a very special place in her heart for memories of the time spent on Grindstone Lake. Jayne is survived by her soul mate and husband, Scott Steuck; son, Shane Pease (Riana) & grand baby on the way, Rylee; son, Travis (Stephanie) Steuck, their children, Jordan Steuck & Sawyer Steuck; daughter, Lauretta Villarreal; four-legged friend, Yogi; sister-in-law, Lori Steuck; brother-in-law, Gordy (Allie) Steuck; nieces, Erika (Chris) Siverhus, Lisa (Todd) Belanger, Jen (Kit) Hannah along with other family. Preceded in death by mother, Philomena McKnight; father, James McKnight; brothers, Ed Ingebritsen, Mike Ingebritsen. There will be a Celebration of Life open house for Jayne 1-4 PM Saturday, September 18th at the Long Lake Park Pavilion 1500 Old Highway 8, New Brighton, MN 55112. Drinks and treats provided.

  1. I want to thank Jayne for her years of devoted service at Pinewood. She was a ray of sunshine whenever my children or I needed her years ago. We remember her. I am so shocked and saddened to learn of her passing. She will be missed by so many! Peace to her family & friends. The Darling Family

I am so saddened to hear of your passing. We were trying to get together to catch up – I look forward to the day when we see each other again. What a wonderful reunion it will be.

  6. I am so sorry for your loss. I was a good friend of your moms back in school. We actually met back in 3rd grade at Pinewood Elementary school. I wish I would have known about her passing. I would have loved to say goodbye.
