May 1, 1960 ~ February 2, 2025

Age 64 of Cambridge. Loving Husband, Dad, Papa, Brother, Friend & Comedian, passed away unexpectedly on February 2, 2025. Preceded in death by father, Wallace; mother, Irene Street; dearest friend, Howard Ammerman. Survived by loving wife, Patti; daughter, Christina (Thomas) Zaccardi; son, Andrew Swanson; grandchildren, Auston & Addyson Zaccardi, Izayah Swanson; siblings, Dave (Linda), Paula Anderson, Diane (Chuck) Banks. Jim was a proud Army Veteran; he enlisted after high school graduation and served his country honorably for 4 years. He possessed a strong work ethic as a welder and even in retirement he never sat down. Jim was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting & fishing. He also had a knack for making people laugh. Goofing around by dressing up, especially for Halloween was his kind of fun. Jim & Patti just started to enjoy traveling and warm winter months down south in Louisiana in 2023 where they met so many amazing friends. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Jim & Patti were nearly inseparable, you’d rarely see one without the other. Jim was a loving papa; his grandkids were his pride and joy and his entire world. Jim’s smile, laughter and goofy personality touched anyone he met, and it will never be forgotten. A celebration of Jim’s life will take place at a later date.
