Hunter H. Hallstrom born March 12, 1995 in Palo Alto, California went peacefully in his sleep on September 5, 2023 at his home in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Hunter graduated from Forest Lake High School in 2013. He was proud to be the youngest Boy Scout in the troop’s history to achieve Eagle Scout and equally proud to service in the Minnesota Army National Guard. Hunter loved the outdoors from camping, hiking to all sports. He wrestled in high school, played softball, hockey and loved snowboarding. He was a huge fan of the Minnesota Wild and followed both professional and collegiate hockey, football, baseball in addition to racing. He also loved hunting and shooting his bow. Hunter was dedicated, giving 110% plus who offered him an opportunity and excelled at anything he chose to try. He was an aspiring iron worker and proud member of Local Union 512. Hunter had a big heart for his community including volunteering for WYT Mobility Clinic. He had a deep love for family and friends. Survived by parents, Wade & Heidi of Lino Lakes; siblings, Phillip (Katie), Lacey, Wyatt (Sarah); grandparents, Hank & Dolly, Earl & Mary Schoenecker; many aunts, uncles & cousins. A celebration of Hunter’s life 11 AM – 3 PM Saturday, October 7th with a short service beginning at 12 PM at the Lino Lakes American Legion Post 566, 7731 Lake Dr., Lino Lakes.
