Age 74 of Columbus.
Beloved Father, Grandpa, Brother passed away unexpectedly on December 9, 2023.
Preceded in death by parents, Raymond siblings, Harold, Carlyn Brazee; brothers-in-law,Rich Lauring, Jim Brazee, Rex Shafer.
Survived by daughters, Carissa (Terry) Thorne, Laura (Joel) Rector; grandchildren, Charli siblings, Marge Lauring, Lori Shafer, Harlan (Sheila), Clarence (Becky), Janet Sorakrai; nieces,nephews, and other relatives & friends.
Born on May 3, 1949 in Springfield MN, Hubert graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1971and spent over 45 years working as a chemical engineer specializing in environmental remediation.He was well known for his lifelong enjoyment of snowmobiling, fishing and hunting, and alwayshaving his cherished hunting dog by his side. He was also an avid member of the Metro Gun Clubfor many years.
A celebration of Hubert’s life will take place at a later date.
Hubert will be dearly missed on Wednesday nights at the metro gun club.
Hubert and Steve have been friends for many years and have been on the same trap shooting team ever since 1996..
For me Cindy I will truly miss our camping trips and sitting by the campfire chatting with friends wether it was on our camping trips or at Clarence and Becky’s home.
