Age 88 of Forest Lake.
Loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa, Brother passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 16, 2023.
Preceded in death by parents, Claude sister, Maxine Steffen.
Survived by loving wife of 40 years, Betty; children, Linda (Len) Sonterre, Dave (Monica), Ken (Tracy) Anderson, Kelly (Dean) Andrews; grandchildren, Jason, Eric (Shannon), Corey, Collin (Katie), McKenna, Carlie, Lexi; great grandchildren, Ben, Emmy, Liam, Leo, Maggie, Emma; sister, Beverly Golden; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Glen was born in Webster, SD and was a proud Army Veteran. He loved to travel with his wife Betty, enjoyed fishing and most of all loved spending time with his family.
A celebration of Glen’s life 11 AM Friday, March 31st with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 9300 Scandia Trail, Forest Lake. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hosanna Lutheran Church.
On behalf of the Forest Lake American Legion Post 225, we give thanks for Glen’s military service to our country in the Army and for veterans as a long time Legion member.
Q: How did you meet Glen?
A: I had the privilege of meeting Glen when I would visit Kelly and Dean. My sympathies to Kelly and Betty and the rest of the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
