Gary and I were friends since 1950. We grew up together and lived two blocks apart from each other in South St. Paul. We spent much time at each other’s homes in the 1950’s. Our families vacationed together at Pebble Beach Resort in Annandale, Minnesota. We attended each other’s weddings and kept in touch these past 70 plus years. I will miss him. My condolences to Livonia, Barbara, Tracy and all of Gary’s other children and families.
On behalf of the Forest Lake American Legion Post 225, we give thanks for Gary’s military service to our country in the Army.
Gone but never forgotten. . And ever time the grandkids say stuff that sounds like something Gary would have said then you will know he is still here

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Gary and Livonia were our first cabin neighbors. Gary was always there to greet us with a smile when we arrived on Friday night and had a treat for the dog just inside the garage door. We were first time cabin owners and learned so much from Gary, he was so gracious to lend a helping hand and his tools. Rest in Peace. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
