Eugene "Gene" P. Houle

Loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 10, 2025.

Preceded in death by parents, Paul & Eva; son, Steven; siblings, Marquerite Seifert, Wallace, Rayoume, Daniel, LeRoy.

Survived by wife of 57 years, Kathleen; daughter, LeAnn (William) Michael; son, Ryan; grandchildren, Jestine (Justin), Adam, Whitney (James), James (Megan), Joshua (Abigail), Nathan, Steven; great-grandchildren, Jaylin, Josephine, Penny, Stevie; sister, Joyce Marier; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Gene cherished spending time with his family specifically his grandchildren. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking and was always very active in his community. He will be missed by many.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Saturday, January 17th with visitation beginning at 10 AM at the Church of Saint Genevieve’s Parish Center, Centerville.  Interment, Saint Genevieve Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the family.
