Ernestine E. Jara
October 20, 1943 ~ June 2, 2015
Age 71 of Forest Lake, formerly of California. Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 2, 2015. Survived by children, Suzanne (Mark) Gifford, Audrey (Joseph) Poggioli; grandchildren, James Jara, Blake (Jenelle) Patrick, Jordan Patrick, Grace Poggioli; great-grandson, Isaiah Jara; Siblings, Roland (Irene) Garcia, Marian Meridieth, William (Grace) Garcia; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was an active resident at Birchwood Healthcare Center where she discovered her love of painting. Private family memorial to be held in California at a later time.
Ernestine befriended my mom at Birchwood several years ago. I saw her paintings at several Birchwood events and they were spectacular. My condolences.
Ernestine was the sweetest woman and loved by many! My Mom and her were good friends at Birchwood. She was the only person Mom invited to her family birthday party. Remember when Ernestine started doing her beautiful paintings-she was very proud and should have been. May she rest in peace! She will certainly be missed!
