Eleanor Marie Elmstrom

Age 94 of Forest Lake passed away December 4, 2018.
Preceded in death by husband, Robert; parents, William & Agnes Edquist; great-grandson, Alec Gillson. Survived by daughter, Karen (Fritz) Schuldt; son, Bill (Marlene) Elmstrom; 5 grandchildren, Susan (Glen) Gillson, Daniel Schuldt, Dale Schuldt, Jeanette (Joe) Wolfe and Elizabeth (Mike) Cromie; 12 great grandchildren; special friends, Jan Palmer, Mary Weaver, Angie Prchal, Caroline Lenihan; other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service 11 AM Monday, December 10th with visitation beginning at 9:30 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment at a later date at Elim Cemetery, Scandia.
To the Elmstrom family. We will miss dear, sweet Miss Eleanor here at the bank. She always brought her checkbook in for us to balance even though most of the time she had it balanced to the penny herself. She always brought us flowers on our birthdays. We always looked forward to taking her out to celebrate her birthday. She always had to check her social schedule first to make sure she was available! Quite often, she enjoyed a cocktail with lunch. We couldn’t join her, as we had to go back to work after lunch. We truly enjoyed her hosting us a her apartment and serving us her delicious fruit soup. Thank you for sharing Eleanor with us.
