Edith May Demarais
April 29, 1924 ~ April 21, 2025
Age 100, formerly of Forest Lake. Loving Mom, Grandma, & Great-Grandma, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025.
Preceded in death by husband, Ted Demarais; children, Ronald Demarais, Tom DeMarais, Jacqueline Huth; grandson, Jeff DeMarais; sister, Estella Lind. Survived by daughters, Carol (James) Smothers, Donna (Charles) Wacker; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.
Edith was a proud WWII Veteran, she served in the WAC (Women’s Army Corps). She was a devout Catholic with unwavering faith. Edith was a devout reader of books and enjoyed listening to music, especially classical, big bands & hymns. She was the true matriarch of her family and held her family above all else. They find peace in knowing that she will continue to love them from heaven.
Edith’s life will be celebrated with a service at 1:30 PM on her 101st birthday, April 29th with visitation starting at 1 PM at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake.

We shared a lot of walks, porch sitting and lunches and her leaving to return to Minnesota was almost as hard as losing Jackie back in 2017.
