Dylan was the epitome of a gentle giant. He was caring, soft spoken, smart and incredibly kind. Dylan had a huge love of the water, especially jumping waves in the ocean. He was the first person in the lake at our family cabin each spring and the last one out in the fall. Dylan also loved video games and sports, especially football and basketball, and brought a hard working attitude to the field and the court. But he will be remembered by us as a kid who loved to spend time with his family. Whether it was trips to Missouri, California or many other states, playing board games or card games, going to amusement parks or a movie night, Dylan always brought a smile, sense of wittiness and an adventurous spirit to all that he did. He was loved and will be truly missed by so many.
Visitation 4-8 PM Friday, May 20th at Faith Lutheran Church, Forest Lake. A celebration of Dylan’s life will be held 11 AM Saturday, May 21st at Faith Lutheran, Forest Lake with visitation beginning at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred, and will be directed in ways to carry on Dylan’s legacy. The service recording is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCYGYyUknlk

June 2, 2017 5th grade track and field day. They put Dylan at the end of the tug a war game. Dylan’s dad John video taping him while the rest of us were cheering the team on. That was a great day. Our grandson Dylan Klecker has this picture in his photo album to keep for ever.
Peace, Prayers and Blessings,
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers !
I remember Dylan attending Forest Lake basketball games with Jenny (I call her Marshall) as she worked the game. He was inquisitive about the game and loved getting pop, candy and pizza from the concession stand. Kennedy was usually right by his side!
Sending our greatest sympathies. To your family!
Rest in peace Dylan
