Age 75 of Stillwater, formerly of Forest Lake. Loving Husband, Dad, Gramps & Brother, passed away surrounded by family on October 28, 2023. Preceded in death by parents, Robert & Lillian; brother-in-law, Larry Lindow. Survived by loving wife of 47 years, Cheryl; children, Ryan (Kelly), Kelly (Dan) Coates; grandchildren, Tanner, Tucker, Sydney, Deegan, Croix; siblings, Duane (Maureen), Diane, Denise (Marty) Hanft; sister-in-law, Carolyn Lindow; brother-in-law, Greg (Angie) Lindow; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Doug was a loving, thoughtful, caring & one-of-a-kind man. He was an amazing Husband, Dad, Gramps and Friend to all. Doug worked as a sprinkler fitter and was a longtime member of the Local 417 Pipefitters Union. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, boating and RVing. He and Cheryl enjoyed many winters spent in the Florida Sunshine. Doug loved watching his son Ryan race jet skis growing up, spoiling his only daughter, Kelly & watching his grandkids play sports. His laid back, happy & kind attitude will be missed by all. Doug’s life will be celebrated with a SendOff 3-7 PM Saturday, November 11th at P. D. Pappys, 422 Mulberry St E, Stillwater. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Lung Association.

  5. Doug will be missed! His kindness and smile and friendship was always present. Andy and Doug were best buds and now are together again! I don’t think there’s a need for sprinkler pipe in Heaven, but they certainly have the best men for the job! Old cars, motorcycles,boats, oh boy Heaven is in for some fun, Andy and Doug no more ache or pain or sickness, let them begin!
