Dorothy Eileen Berry, age 84 of Woodbury, MN and formerly of Wichita, KS and Nashua, NH died Sept. 29, 2013. Dorothy is preceded in death by husband of 61 years, James Jake Berry on April 21, 2013; parents, Charles and Dorothy (Clark) Dahl; brothers, James Dahl, Gerald Dahl, and David Clark Dahl. She will be deeply missed by her children, Michael Berry, Deborah Berry, Elizabeth (Robert) Houle, and Thomas (Suzanne) Berry; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; special niece, Kathleen Dahl Duffy; sister, Mary Ellen Dahl; brother, Charles Dahl; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Poole, Barbara Berry, and Dorothy Berry; nieces and nephews; and special family friend, Father Raymond Wieling. Visitation will be held from 9-10 AM Saturday, Oct. 5th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Dr. SW, Forest Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Saturday, Oct. 5th at Church of St. Peter, 1250 So. Shore Dr., Forest Lake, MN. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake. Memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace Cancer Home, St. Paul.
Dorothy Berry was such a treasured friend to my parents Pat & June Regan. She was a very special neighbor that was kind and caring. I can still visualize Dorothy sharing her love of painting and appreciation of art. We send our sympathies to the Berry family for the loss of your beautiful mother.
Dorothy Berry, one of the legendary Fountain Street Moms, will never be forgotten. She was cultured,graceful and always so kind(even to the bratty kids on the block).Our deepest sympathies to the Berry family. With love and many wonderful memories of Dorothy, Maureen Regan Cannon
