Doris D. Schurrer
April 26, 1938 ~ January 14, 2016
Age 77 of Forest Lake. Loving Mom, Grandma, Sister, passed away peacefully at home on January 14, 2016. Preceded in death by parents, Heino Lydia Wirtanen; husband, Ralph; brother, Merle Wirtanen; sister, Joyce Pearson. She will be deeply missed by sons. Mike (Dawn), Ron (Kristin); grandchildren, Anthony, Zian, Alica, Alexandra, Joshua, Jacob, Abigail; brother, John (Evelyn) Wirtanen; sister-in-laws, Lorraine Wirtanen, Jean Schurrer; brother-in-law, Bob (Jeannine) Schurrer; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Doris can be remembered as being an avid reader, a former square dancer with Jolly Promenaders and Carver Swingers. She also enjoyed playing bingo, was a hockey mom grandma, and most of all loved spending time with her family. A Celebration of Doriss Life 11 AM Thursday, January 21st at Roberts Family Life Celebration Home, 555 SW Centennial Drive, Forest Lake, with visitation beginning at one hour prior. Memorials preferred to the family.
