May 26, 1933 - December 10, 2021 Donald R. Dahl, 88, formerly of Willmar, MN, passed away December 10, 2021. Donald was born May 26, 1933, in Gilchrist Township near Glenwood, MN to Carl and Thilda ‘Tillie’ Dahl. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Tillie; brothers, Leo and Ellsford; sister, Lucille Powers; nephews, Dennis and David Dahl, and Bradley Powers; niece, Robyn Powers; longtime companion, Helen Henning. Survived by sister-in-law Joyce Dahl; nieces and nephews, Linda Devens, LeAnn Waldvogel, Michael (Karen) Dahl, Rick (Laurie) Dahl, Ron Dahl, Randy (Sue) Dahl, Tim Dahl, Tom (Wendy) Dahl, Susan (Bob) Stiles, Debra Anderson, Darcy (Terry) Caye, Jacqueline Gleason; other relatives and friends. A joint memorial service with Donald’s sister Lucille Powers will be held at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, Minneapolis, MN noon Friday, December 17, 2021. Visitation 30 minutes prior to service. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held immediately following the service at a nearby location. No flowers please.
