Age 90 of Forest Lake. Passed away surrounded by family on May 14, 2025.
Preceded in death by wife, Laura “Jean”; sons, Donald Jr., Paul; siblings, Arlene Hetzel, John. Survived by children, David, Mark (Jackie); 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 3-great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Don was a longtime active member of the Forest Lake American Legion.
A celebration of life will be held for both Don & Laura “Jean” at 11 AM Wednesday, May 28th at the Forest Lake American Legion. Interment for both at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.

On behalf of the Forest Lake American Legion Post 225, we give thanks for Don’s service in the military and to veterans as a longtime Legionnaire.
Our deepest condolences to the family. We spent many yrs hunting on their property. We had a lot of great memories having beverages, laughs and just being around the whole family.
