Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Derek was my best friend ever he taught me alot in life I will never forget you I love you brother we will see each other again I promise that till than much love

  2. So sad to post, but I want to share a good memory that I had of Derek over at Katie’s house when we partied, played pool, and just had a great time with Julie, LaCretia, Katie, Derek and me. I really got to know Derek that night and what a man he was! Nothing but good memories. So sorry for your loss. Debbie Lerdahl, Largo, FL

  3. I didn’t know Derek extremely well however, I used to see him in the Gym all the time. He’d be in there with Jesse. Usually if you saw one you saw the other. Derek was the kind of guy who would break his back for you he had a heart of gold and work ethic I strive to be like . I’m going to truly miss running into him. My sincere blessings to his family and his children who I know who he adored very much. God bless you man I’ll miss you deeply.

  4. Derek was and always will be one of the best cousins ever. If I ever needed someone to talk to about anything I knew I could always go to him and he would sit there and listen to everything I had to say and without judgement he would always give me advice and now that he’s gone I really don’t know what I’m going to do. Man besides my dad’s passing this is one of the HARDEST deaths I have dealt with. You were way too young and so full of life. I love you cuz and I’m going to miss you like crazy. Rest easy cuz and I’ll see you again someday when it’s my time. GONE BUT WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN

  5. I know derek from the gym. This broke my heart and it was such tragic news to here. He always took his workouts so seriously and was very proud of his progress. He was very nice to talk to and seemed to have big dreams. It is so sad to see him go so soon. You motivated alot around you at the gym. You will be missed at lifetime. Rest in peace. 🙁
