Age 61 of Stacy, passed away on March 6, 2017. Fred Pop My husband is gone. No more will I feel his sweet kisses upon my lips, nor the comfort only he could provide. My buddy is gone, no longer here to laugh and dance. No longer here to hold my hand, no longer by my side. Dennis was born in Sartell, MN on June 13th 1955, he was raised in Little Canada, MN along with his 7 brothers and 4 sisters. He attended Saint John Church and School of Little Canada. He was a 1973 graduate Kellogg High School and continued his education at Lakewood Community College. He was an employee at Abbott Northwestern Hospital for 29 years. He was known as the fire systems guy, the go-to guy. He was dependable, kind, considerate, organized, helpful, fun, a great dancer, compassionate, and most of all smart! He could do most anything. Hes our MacGyver. We love him so very much for all hes done for us and will miss him for all time. Dennis and I met on September 15th, 1979 and I knew on our 2nd date that the was the man I would marry. I was head over heels for him and still am. He was crazy about me too. Within two months of our meeting he built me a beautiful doll house, he also made doll furniture that included whittling. We were married on Valentines Day 1981. We bought our home in Stacy in April of the same year. Dennis passed away peacefully March 6th, 2017 where he wanted to be, home in bed listening to KOOL108 with his loved ones close by. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Victoria (Traut) Rausch, nephew Bobby, mother-in-law, Janet Diebel, and brother-in-law Loren Magnuson. Survived by his loving wife Jackie (Diebel), his beloved sons Dennis (Lisa) Rausch, Michael (Pamela) Diebel, his treasured grandchildren Joey, Jeffrey, Lauryn and Nicholas, his loving siblings, in-laws, his dear nieces and nephews, not to mention all of his loving aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides, as well as his friends and his work family. I worked with Dennis at Abbott for the past 5 years mostly with the fire system. He was such a kind gentleman. If I had a question about anything I would ask Dennis and he would know the answer. He was also very organized with all of the paperwork that we needed for regulatory agencies. I knew if Dennis was involved everything would be done and documented correctly. I will miss him – not only for the paperwork – but for his kindness, sense of humor and his laughter. It was an honor to work with Dennis and to have known such a wonderful man. My prayers go out to you, Jackie, and to your family during this difficult time.
Jackie I’m so sorry to hear about Dennis. You were both lucky to have found such love. Your remembrance of him was beautiful. Laurie

Jackie and family and friends,
Although your Brimer cousins are far away, we will not be there physically but our thoughts and prayers will be with you all at this difficult time. Since the first time I met Dennis he was always first to say hello and be there with his great smile! He remembered everyone no matter how long it was since he saw you. I know my parents in heaven will be there to greet him this time! Love, Dawn, Bill, Brian, Susan, Karen and John Brimer
Jackie- this is so beautifully written. It spoke of how much love he shared and is respected for that. To leave that kind of footprint on the world and everyone who met him is a gift the family will have forever. God Bless you Jackie and your family and friends. Hugs
My Condolence to the family,
Hello, my name is Carl Carter, I work in the Parking Department of Abbott Northwestern Hospital and always found Dennis to be very kind and helpful over the years, he will be missed.
God bless!
I worked with Dennis for over thirty years. Thru that time I learned a lot of how better to deal with people and just do my job in a more quality way.
Dennis was a very unique and wonderful man that I rarely encounter, I am blessed to have known him. He was always more than happy to show and help a fellow engineer to better do their job. He also saw faults and would have a way to help me to deal with them.
I learned a lot from Dennis and miss him.
I know God has a special position waiting for him.
God bless Dennis Jackie and family
My condolences to Dennis’s family. Our office is not the same without Dennis shooting rubberbands and imitating peoples laugh, of which he did very well. Dennis was my spell-check when the computer didn’t do it’s job. We laughed and we smiled and he made our days brighter. Dennis, we miss you. Jeannine – office crew
