Denny was my sponsor for our Hugo Lions club. He got me to join after a conversation at our local Legion where he talked about the importance of serving your community and giving back. While there may have been a cocktail involved, the fun stories he told being part of this group and how great it is to give back too, made me excited to come to the first meeting. Funny enough, he forgot that conversation and didn’t show up at the meeting the next Wednesday. He truly was a man of smiles and laughter that you instantly felt good about being in his presence. What a gift indeed!
We are thinking of you.
Our hearts are broken. So many wonderful memories of Uncle Denny..
Denny had such a huge heart, willing to roll up his sleeves and dig in where ever needed. I will miss his laugh , smile, and some one to share a beer with. Denny will be missed by many. He was a great asset as a Hugo Lion= again, always there when needed. You are no longer suffering, we will miss you here, but i am sure you already are holding a beer and visiting with many. Cheers my friend.. Lion Katie
Denny & I were in the military together for 6 years and hunted deer together for many years. He was a good man and friend to many. Condolences to his friends & family. Jerry Triden
