May 12, 1950 ~ January 13, 2018
Age 67 of Forest Lake. Loving Dad, Grandpa, Brother, passed away surrounded by family on January 13, 2018. Preceded in death by parents, Edward Phyllis; siblings, Doug Johnson, Joan Johnson. Survived by daughters, Tricia (Steve) Burt, Brenda (Dan) Boe, Denise (Scott) Carlson; their mother, Mary Johnson; grandchildren, Jack (Jillian), Abby, Joe, Anna, Tommy, Charlie, Max, Brizzy, Kylie, Sophia, Zach; siblings, Marty Johnson, Linda (Ken) Vincent. Dennis spent his career in home building and was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer and wrestling coach. He was once on the parish council at St. Johns Lutheran in Stacy, and most of all with his competitive spirit enjoyed the thrill of watching his grandchildren participate in sports. A Celebration of Denniss Life 6 PM Wednesday, January 17th with visitation beginning at 4 PM at Roberts Family Life Celebration Home, 555 SW Centennial Drive, Forest Lake. Interment 11 AM Thursday, January 18th at Stacy Cemetery. A special thank you to Denniss niece, Sherry Holmgren and the Ecumen staff for their great care of Dad.
My deepest sympathy to all of you on the passing of Dennis. May God give you comfort and hold you close in your time of grief! Celebrate the great memories and wonderful times during this time and always. Dennis is in a wonderful place at home with Jesus. Peace

I am deeply saddened to her of your fathers passing. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Uncle Dennis will hold a special place in my heart, there was a side to him that I was so grateful to see, not only when my dad passed away but also when he tried to help my brother. He was a special man.
