March 3, 1962 ~ April 26, 2024
Age 62 of Lindstrom.
Loving Wife, Mom & Sister, passed away on April 26, 2024.
Debbie had a heart of gold and cared deeply for everyone around her. She always put her family first, and loved hosting and gathering with family. Debbie would go out her way with little gestures and gifts to make you feel special. She also loved to craft and working on little projects, which in turn she would use as a way to brighten someone’s day. Relaxing by a campfire or just simply sitting in her porch brought her joy. She was the BEST Wife & Mom.
Preceded in death by parents, Donna & Delbert DeVore. Survived by loving husband of 40 years, Rick; children, Christa (Brendan Dunagan), Tyler (Amanda); siblings, Dawn Vilaysack, Denise (Duane) Stone, Delbert (Sherry) DeVore, Daniel (Kala) DeVore; nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
A Celebration of Debbie's Life will be held on Saturday, June 1st, 1-4pm at Chisago Lake Township Hall, 12400 316th Street, Lindstrom, MN 55045.
Jesus Christ is a sustainer. Through everything we go through in life. I pray for strength ,understanding and Comfort Through this sorrowful time to the family
from my family to yours Sending hugs love and prayers To the family. Debbie made a warm and everlasting impression with me and my family , kala is my daughter Dan is my son we love you.
Debbie was a radiant beacon of love, kindness, and thoughtfulness that brought joy to everyone who crossed her path. With her incomparable sense of humour and generous spirit, she enriched our in-law relationship and always found avenues for laughter. Our shared dance at Dan and Kala’s wedding will forever resonate within my heartstrings. Although she may have departed this world, her vivacity will keep on dancing in the cherished corners of my memory for eternity.
Dear Rick, Christa, and Tyler. I worked with Debbie for many years at the radiation therapy center. I am so sad and sorry to hear of her passing. She was such a wonderful person, and truly a gift to all who knew her. It was very evident how much her family meant to her– she shared so many stories and would just shine when she did! She offered me kind encouragement and many gentle suggestions based on her own experience as I became a mom and had my own young family–things I’ve incorporated into our daily lives and traditions. I can think of many favorite memories of Debbie but two pop to the top of the list. Once during a busy stretch at the clinic, she showed up to work with a bag of McDonald’s breakfast burritos to pep everyone up–and it worked! It was unexpected and thoughtful and set the day positively in motion. Another— when I was pregnant with my second daughter, my water broke several weeks before my due date while at work. I was pretty scared–and Debbie just sat with me and calmly encouraged me until my husband got there. She had a heart of gold and will be missed by many.
Holding your family extra close during this season. Hoping that all of your happy and fun memories together (and I know there are many!) can bring your hearts some comfort.
